So Let’s Celebrate!
Today is an exciting day at our studio because it’s the M of M&R Gallery’s birthday! So to celebrate Melody’s birthday, we decided to share a little bit about this remarkable woman with you.
Mel as a Child
Melody was born and raised in the little town of Rigby, Idaho by her two wonderful parents, Aaron and Cecelia Fife. By the time Melody was five, she became the oldest sibling of her two younger siblings, Michael and Lori. One of her fondest childhood memories is playing Cowboys and Indians with these two all over the family farm. As you can imagine, Melody’s siblings were and still are her best friends and partners in crime.
As a child, Melody had large aspirations to become many things. However, it wasn’t until she was 16 that she found her true passion for photography, while in the dark room of her yearbook class. By the time she was 18, Melody became the proud owner of her first camera, which had been a birthday gift from her father. Little did she or her father know that this camera would one day proudly sit on the bookshelf of her professional photography studio.
Melody has now been in the profession for over 20 years and has accomplished many great things with her business partner and best friend, Rhonda, including winning several awards and being featured on multiple magazines. Her and Rhonda have taken portraits of thousands of wonderful clients from all over the United States and have loved getting to know each and every single one.
Although Melody has become a renowned photographer, she still makes time to be a wonderful mother to her four beautiful children whom she loves very much. In fact, she loves them so much that she even wished for her birthday to one day travel the world with them. What a stellar mom! Although this wish may not be coming true today, we’re sure her kids will someday make it happen 😉
We sure do love you Melody. Thank you for being the inspiring woman that you are. We wish you the happiest of birthdays and hope that this year is filled with many more wonderful experiences. You deserve them all!
